How long do I get to keep a rental?
A rental is due on the last day of the semester.
I usually buy my books because I may need them later. Why should I rent?
With our rental program, the full rental price paid can be applied toward the purchase price if you decide to keep the book. For example, if the rental price is $25 and the purchase price is $75, you would pay only $50 to keep the book.
Can I rent books or packages that include access codes?
Yes. The rental price includes the purchase of the access code. The book portion must still be returned at the end of the semester.
Can I write or highlight in my rental?
Standard writing and highlighting are allowed. Excessive markings may cause the rental to be considered damaged.
Why do I need a debit or credit card on file?
A card is required in case the rental is not returned.
How do I return my rental?
It's easy. No receipt is required. Visit the Rental Return Info page for complete instructions.
Please include your contact information inside the package when mailing returns.
What if I don't return my rental?
The bookstore will charge the card on file for the replacement cost unless prior arrangements have been made.
How do I know you received my returned rental?
You will receive an emailed receipt confirming the return has been processed.
What if I need to extend my rental?
Please contact the bookstore to pay the upcoming semester's rental fee.
What if I want to keep my rental?
The full rental price paid can be applied toward the purchase price. Contact the bookstore and we will help you convert your rental into a purchase.
What if I lost or damaged my rental?
Students are responsible for paying the difference between the rental price paid and the replacement purchase price.

Rental Terms & Agreement
I will return the rented materials to this bookstore on or before the rental return date. The bookstore is not responsible for reminding me of the rental return date and is not responsible for returns lost or damaged in shipping. I am fully responsible for the condition of rented materials and for payment of fees and replacement costs if materials are lost, stolen, or returned in unacceptable condition.
If rented materials are not returned by the due date, the credit card on file may be charged a rental extension fee and the replacement cost of the materials less the amount already paid for the rental. If payment cannot be collected, a student hold may be placed on the account and the balance may be referred to collections. The bookstore's refund policy applies to all rental materials. By renting, you consent to receiving bookstore communications related to your rentals.
